I have been labelled with a couple of names, but nothing beats the good old days being known as Ateneo de Davao University's The Red Queen and one of the school's Forever Hosts. The name is Adrian L. Madronero, a 20-year-old fashion enthusiast and a part-time blogger of Davao City.

I came from Tupi, South Cotabato. It's a four to five-hour drive from Davao City to the southern part of Mindanao, a small town lying between the big cities of General Santos and Koronadal. I have studied there for 10 years from elementary up until second year high school, then afterwards I decided to enroll in a private catholic school, the Notre Dame-Siena School of Marbel and then finished secondary education there. My hosting career actually begun during my days at Notre Dame being trained by my english teacher and being thrown into the big events of the school. I have also joined the Regional Press Conference participating as a radio news anchor with the school's broadcast team during my two-years stay in my Alma Mater. With enough experience in newscasting, broadcasting and hosting, I was automatically invited in Glimpse - the school's publishing club.

College came and I decided to enroll in one of the prestigious schools in the Philippines, Ateneo de Davao University. From second year college up 'til now, my hosting career has definitely reached its peak, dressing up and marching on the stage with a voice to entertain and run the show. No event is too big or too small for me as I believe that the experience I go through improves my hosting skills.

In the mid third-year days, I was exposed to a lot of extravagant things that I was yet to discover during my younger years. I was a typical fashionista with no style way back then I guess, but that changed as I open my eyes to a new world, a very familiar and at the same time strange world, the world of fashion. Then I got acquainted with one of the most prominent fashion and lifestyle blogger in the metro, the Young Blood Aidx Paredes. He taught me things about blogging, essentials and what's what and thereafter I also got acquainted with the whole idea of blogging. Though I'm still an amateur in this field, this friend helped me to get through, exposing me to a lot of deals, inviting me to host the launching party of Lieu Online Magazine - one of the pioneering online magazine in Davao City, to getting my face in a fashion article in Zee Lifestyle.

During my OJT days, I was given the privilege to work as an intern at ABS-CBN Regional Network in Davao City. During the morning, I have experienced being a having a headset on and shouting commands in the set of Maayong Buntag Mindanao as we try to pull off a good show. Also, I have accompanied reporters patrolling throughout the city looking out for news. During my first day of my field work with Maam Claire Cornelio, we covered a mob of angry activists at the front of SM Lanang as President "Nonoy" Aquino arrives from the airport. After experiencing how it is to be a reporter, I was really pumped up for the day and thereafter wanted to search for more adventure.
